The Block is back and contestants this year are busy transforming The Oslo Hotel in Melbourne’s St Kilda, from a budget boarding house into five luxury townhomes. The five couples are taking on the biggest challenge of the series to date with over 460sqm to transform in just 14 weeks. 

We spoke to several of the contestants' builders to learn more about their experiences using framing made from TRUECORE® steel. Ryan Graham of Graham Building Group, hired by Tess and Luke in House #2, had this to say: 

“One of the highlights for me was realising how much you can do with TRUECORE® steel. Not only was I designing walls with the team, but bulkheads, bench seats and sets of stairs… Follow on trades also had a great experience. Pre-drilled holes for both electrical cables, water and waste pipes made rough-in a breeze.”
