July 2017

Coral Homes have taken out the Best Use of Steel category at the recent Master Builders Brisbane Housing & Construction Awards, held at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The award is in its inaugural year and was proudly sponsored by BlueScope’s TRUECORE® steel.

The standard and number of entries in the initial year of this award is very encouraging and demonstrates the exciting future for light-weight framing made from TRUECORE® steel in residential building.

Coral Homes is a most deserving winner and has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to offering light-weight steel framing made from TRUECORE® steel in the construction of their project homes. The award was also welcome recognition for Stoddart Steel House Frames who manufactured and installed the frame made from TRUECORE® steel for Coral Homes.

According to Coral Homes’ CEO Steve Foley, the award further reinforces the builder’s growing reputation for innovation. “Steel frames are an example of our ongoing commitment to innovation in building materials, whereby we are continually looking for ways to better cater to the needs of our customers at prices they can afford,” said Mr Foley.
